Will Jindal Run Negative Campaign Ads?
Dec 15th, 2006 by jindalisbad
Jindal ran for Governor of Louisiana in 2003 and fulfilled his promise not to run a negative campaign ads towards other candidates which may have been his ultimate demise but I commend that. But it seems lately most of his followers are eager and quick to bash Blanco and find that because of her gross incompetence Jindal is the only other person willing to take the seat.
Now being that Jindal is a “good boy” and “good” for Louisiana I hope he continues where he left off in 03 and does not stoop to the levels of those that run negative campaign ads. Nothing chaps me more than see character debates on subjective opinions between competitors.

I wrote an opinion on negative campaning .
Jindal calls everything that mentions him in a way that he doesn’t like “negative campaigning”.
If Jindal lies about his ethics record by saying that he is pro-ethics ad then a candidate brings up his votes to weaken house ethics rules to counter his misleading spin, Jindal will call this a “negative attack” against him.
However, he has already started to sling mud. In this he states that “[w]e cannot allow the same bureaucracy and red tape that hindered the relief effort to hold up the rebuilding process.” If this isn’t an attack against Blanco, I dont know what is.
Of course many of his supporters will refuse to see him as being a hypocrite.
Could it be that the bureaucracy in Washington hindered the relief effort in not only rebuilding New Orleans, but also saving peoples’ lives? Was this all partisan politics–a way to get rid of the black vote in New Orleans, … See: http://www.nola.com/news/t-p/washington/index.ssf?/base/news-1/116953815315500.xml&coll=1
When I was evacuated in Houston, after getting settled down, one of the first things I thought was that the Republicans could use Katrina as a way to steal the state and make it Republican.
When I heard “Brownie”’s statement over the weekend I was shocked. If his claims are true, I wonder how else the relief effort has been hindered by the Republican partisan politics.
Look at how much money Mississippi is getting compared to us. It makes you wonder.
