Submit your ideas to Jindal’s transition.
Oct 25th, 2007 by Daniel Z.
Here is my idea that I submitted.
Eliminate the ability of corporations to make campaign contributions. Under current campaign finance law, a person or legal entity may contribute up to a specified limit. However, if an individual owns a corporation, he/she may use that corporation to make another contribution up to that limit as well. The more corporations you own, the more contributions you can make to a candidate. So the only real limit on campaign contributions is the number of corporations you want to own. This is an enormous loophole in the law that needs to be shut. The Federal campaign finance laws already prohibit corporate donations and it is time that Louisiana does the same.
You can also sublit your ideas as well. Just click here. Maybe if enough people submit this idea, they may actually pay attention to it.

He needs your name and address.
Is this to collect data on liberal subversives or any other opponents to his new regime?
Anyone notice anyone excluded from the prescriptions mentioned in this article:
http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/10809736.html
“Jindal, a 36-year-old Republican, already intends to push to:
* Require public officials to give up their pensions if they break the law.
* Force legislators to disclose their income, assets and debts in financial ranges.
* Prohibit legislators from serving as consultants to lobbying firms.”
The first is also fatally flawed constitutionally and fraught with serious legal issues. Who is a “public official” and can “breaking the law” mean a parking violation?
Jindal’s Cronys and pals are up to no good. Keep an eye on these crooks…

Buffeted by bad press from recalls of dangerous drugs and public bitterness over high drug prices, the drug industry has decided to cure its ailing image by sponsoring its own TV talk show, hosted by Billy Tauzin, the former GOP congressman who now heads the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Its “Healthcare Campfire with Billy Tauzin” is “the latest — and possibly boldest — part of a multi-pronged effort to burnish the drug industry’s battered public image,” writes Jeffrey Young. “The episodes, broadcast as paid advertisements but billed as public affairs programs, borrow the format of talk shows such as NBC’s ‘Today.’” In addition to interviews, the show features reports by PhRMA staff on new medicines, which “look like a news story you would see at a local news station,” according to PhRMA Senior Vice President Ken Johnson.
He won you guys!! more than half of the state cannot be wrong! GO BOBBY JINDAL! God is on your side, Governor [elect] Jindal. You are always in my prayers! He will be a great, CHRISTIAN leader for our state. Enough Liberals already!!
I don’t expect to get posted because you may be afraid to post something positive about our governor elect. We shall see.
Nettie: As you can see, the post was allowed.
Actually, it was much less than half the state who voted for Bobby Jindal. About 50% of the population of Louisiana that can register to vote is registered. Then about another 50% of those who are registered actually voted. So that means 25% of the population who can vote actually cast a vote. Of those 25%, just over half voted for Bobby Jindal. So 13.5% of the state’s population that is of voting age voted for Bobby Jindal.
And yes, 13.5% of the state can be wrong. We will see in 4 years if they happened to be wrong or not. Im sure you would tell the MAJORITY of Louisiana that voted for Blanco that they where wrong wouldn’t you?
Oh, and by the way, why should he be a great CHRISTIAN leader? Why should his religion have anything to do with his ability to lead. I said it before and I will say it again, if I was head of the Louisiana Democratic Party I would have not run that religion ad because Bobby Jindal’s religion had nothing to do with why I felt he was wrong for Louisiana.
So let me ask you something, Nettie. Would you vote for someone to be Governor who is Jewish? Why or why not?
Every comment I have seen celebrating Jindal has talked about what a good Christian he is. Every single one. It’s a tragic failure of the political process, because the same people who are fighting a theocracy overseas are trying to install one here.
The reason this is a failure of the political process is that it shows that the people who want to be told what to believe are now the major force in an election. Democrats were criticized for busing people to the polls from the Ninth Ward, meanwhile the Conservatives were busing people from the churches. If we the people don’t do something to counteract the religiously-motivated and politically active people who prop up the Jindals and Huckabees, it’s just going to get worse.
The only antidote to slavish adherence to religion that I know of is education, and boy have we f—-d that one up around here.
Dumbasses Voted for Bush twice..
We all know how that turned out.
Welcome to Jindal-bashing central! If you and your audience care so much about him is such a nasty, negative way it must mean he’s not only doing a lot right but is a force to be reckoned with! Right on!
Will the above comment pass your censorship and be posted here?
Sophie: Oh yes, we are so nasty. Some of the pro-Jindal posters that have come here have been the most vile of them all.
And unless you spam, become vulgar, or lie… your post will eventually be allowed.
Boby Jindal is No.1.leaader.if you think he is bad then I think he is bad for the bad but good for good.
VITTER GOT IN NO TROUBLE FOR WHOREMONGERING, BUT HE JUST GOT SLAPPED WITH A BIG FINE FOR ELECTION FRAUD & MEET DICK CURTIS, A JUST OUTED GOP HYPOCRITE
http://downwithtyranny.blogspot.com/2007/10/vitter-got-in-no-trouble-for.html
Why are there so many Pedophiles in the GOP? Can any of you 13.5 percenters tell me why?
If Jindal interested in solving corruption he form a third party.
He SHOULD form a third party, If he were truly interested in ending corruption… But he is not..
This is what I am talking about: http://www.americablog.com/2007/10/headline-of-week-so-far-cross-dressing.html
The GOPedophiles and their Family Values won’t do anything to end corruption. But they will say anything to get your votes. If you want to end corruption, then quit being conned by the neocons.
A red state victory right next door. Lets get democracy rolling through this place…
I’m in Mississippi helping to get out the vote for Gary Anderson in some of the toughest Republican districts.
We only have 5 days to go until Election Day. Can you give $15 right now to help DFA put Gary over the top?
www.DemocracyforAmerica.com/PrimariesMatter
Gary Anderson already won his primary against a 32 year do-nothing incumbent thanks to your support. Now we can finish the job on November 6th, 2007 and elect the first African American to statewide office in Mississippi in over a hundred years.
Is Jindal a Lobbiest for hire? or does he represent the people of Louisiana?
Talk about selling America to foreigners. Foreign countries own more of our Democracy than we do:

Is Jindal a Lobbiest for hire? or does he represent the people of Louisiana?
Hasn’t Mr. Jindal selected Roy Martin as part of his transition team for economic and environmental matters? Is Mr. Jindal aware of the environmental problems in Alexandria and Pineville at the current and former Roy O. Martin creosoting facilities?
He should resign his U.S. House seat immediately while he’s working on the transition so that District 1 can have some true representation in Washington D.C. That should be number #1.
WE NEED REED!
Sorry boys! Tony G for Congress!
Really?
Yes, it’s for real.
You guys do a wonderful job! Keep up the good work!!!
