While I like how TheDeadPelican.com puts up Louisiana related news articles that you usually won’t see on the 5 o’clock news; I found the most recent article about John Breaux / Bobby Jindal rather strange. It has become aparent to me in the last few weeks that the TDP doesn’t like Breaux and is hell bent on the “Bobby Is Good” train that has plagued our state. Do you think they will post this response to the article posted, I doubt it.
From the article TDP states:

I’m not real sure what video they were watching but what part of his speech attacked Jindal besides pointing out the obvious early stages of Jindal’s political career?

Obviously not Jindal. Not to mention he just voted no to more hurricane aid. I don’t care what you say he voted no to the bill. He should have been representing Louisiana and not worried about his GOP buddies.

I seem to remember a few posts back where we posted Louisiana was second to last in the health category?

Breaux left Louisiana to make millions selling his influence for a lobbying firm that represents the governments of Saudi Arabia and China?

Is it just me or are we hating on all lobbyist now? And I found it even more strange that the Jindal lovers are bringing out the “Saudi Arabia and China” card. Anytime you mention anything about Piyush’s origins we hear the whine about how racist people are towards Jindal and the color of skin / where he’s from.

Lobbyist John Breaux hasn’t even announced his candidacy for Governor and already he is slinging mud at Bobby

Where is the mud? Last time I checked the Republican party already aired a video about Breaux.

Its not your imagination. The Dead Pelican is the most one-sided, so called news reporting source in Louisiana. TDP is a total propaganda arm of the Republican Party thats why you always see Democrats slammed on that website.

It is just more Republican fear over a Breaux candidacy. They are afraid of what Breaux might do to their candidates chances, since they know that Jindal’s record cannot stand when someone with a strong voice can unwind the spin.

How interesting is this video. Jindal tries to pass a Motion to Recommitt that merely reiterates existing law, but claims existing law should only apply to the people of New Orleans. Yes, this motion passed, but it was superfluous, as it merely repeated the law. Empty gestures and more political theater, but then again, this is Bobby Jindal.

This is the debate for the Gulf Coast Housing Recovery Act that passed last month. Jinda’s motion passed, as it was a mere repetition of the law. But for Jindal, only Orleans Parish has to follow the law. The man is dense.

I found it amazing that Jindal was asked a question five times and he couldn’t even answer it.

Is it just me, or does watching CSPAN remind you of watching a Kindergarden class. Everytime one side doesn’t get their way, the other side starts making a ruckus. Seems rather childish to me.

LOL! Come on, is this site for real? Yeah, there are conservative web sites out there, but JIB is the only web site that I know of aimed at “exposing” ONE CANDIDATE!

Why not just call it JINDAL IS SATAN!

None of the right wingers have a site called “BREAUX IS BAD.”

But I do find this site entertaining for its sheer over the top nature.

Slicko: Perhaps the reason this site exists because the candidate in question needs “exposing”. The site shouldn’t be called “Jindal is SATAN” because we are not trying to assert that Bobby Jindal is Satan. We are just trying to show that as a choice for Governor, Bobby Jindal is Bad. The right wingers may not have a site called “breaux is bad” but they do have plenty of attacking commercials trying to make claims about Breaux. And what about “Don’t blame me I voted for Jindal”? That site was completely focused at taking down Blanco. Im glad you enjoy the site for its “entertainment value”. However, I hope you will also read the content of the site and see the arguments that are made which counteract the spin of the Jindal camp.
