Dan would you care to write a piece about his women's rights stance? I would love to read that.

I know this isnt a joke. My concern was that making allegations without the proof to back it up is not a good thing for people to do if they want others to take this site seriously.

We know that Jindal is weak on education, ethics, women's rights and many other issues. We can point to his record and his statements to back those claims up.

I just wanted Martha to know that while I share her zeal in educating people about Jindal, that some of the things she said could work to harm our efforts.

I look forward to your ideas!

Marsha: A couple points.

A)Running a website is actually fairly cheap if you can design the site yourself or use one of the free tools that are either given to you by the host or available for download online. Many packages include hosting costs for multiple sites so it may very well be that the site is "free" under the terms of the agreement with the hosting company.

B)The website "jindalisgood.com" is discussing why Jindal is "Good" for the governors race. The FEC would not have jurisdiction over the comments made on that site.

C) According to the website, no profits are generated and they are not affiliated with Bobby Jindal in anyway. I would stay clear of assuming too much about the site and its affiliation to Jindal and his campaign for governor.

D) Since JIG is advertising a store, it may (or may not be) in violation of the LSU rules for access to their network to use his LSU e-mail address to sell t-shirts. You would have to view their student handbook to be sure.

What I am trying to point out to you is this. You are making some claims about Bobby Jindal without real proof. If we, as concerned citizens of Louisiana, want to educate the public abot why Bobby Jindal would be bad for Louisiana as governor we absolutely MUST keep our discussions of him , his policies, his record, and his activities to the facts at hand. We cannot start accusing him of any relation to JIG based on the idea that because the site "endorses him" for governor that he must have something to do with it. If we make claims without backing them up, people will not take this site seriously and I would hate this valuable educational resource about the flaws of Bobby Jindal to become a joke.

I hope that the Webmaster is reporting his political contribution (the cost of running a Web site isn't cheap) to the Federal Election Commission (http://www.fec.gov/) ... . And, are the profits from the t-shirts being used to finance the Jindal's campaign?

Im sure you can get many pictures of Jindal by just doing a google image search.

On the topic of taking that website seriously, read "THE JINDAL CHRONICLES" on the front page. If it wasnt for the "why is Jindal good" page, I would think that this entire website is a satire that hopes to use Jindal's name recognition to sell t-shirts for Storyville Apparel.

You can be sure it's a product of Jindal's brillant mind. Afterall, where did all those pictures of Jindal posing with his fake smile come from?
