The Republican Party proves me right!

In the thread about Jindal’s “dead zone” vote I stated that Jindal would get kudos from people for getting dead zone funds even though he voted against the overall measure (which was a vote against us getting those funds).
A recent press release from the Republican party did just that.
It stated…

In Case You Missed It
Jindal Proposal to Help Gulf Coast Passes
“Jindal was successful last week in having his amendment accepted to double the $2.5 million for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Gulf of Mexico Program to combat the Gulf’s “dead zone.”
The dead zone forms each summer in the Gulf when pollutants are released into the Mississippi River and flow down to the Gulf with large amounts of algae accumulating along the way. The growth and decomposing algae then consume the water’s oxygen, making it uninhabitable for fish, shrimp and other marine life.
Jindal noted that 40 percent of the nation’s commercial fish yield comes from the Gulf.
“The livelihood of many thousands of people and their communities are at risk, as is the large marine ecosystem on which they depend,’ Jindal said.
his an except of an article that was published in The Advocate in Baton Rouge, LA today, to read the full article please click on the link.

Notice that they failed to quote this portion of the article.
“The bill passed, but Jindal voted against it because it was $2 billion more than requested by President Bush.”
And people wonder why sites like this exist? It is because of misrepresentations like this that make Jindal look like the hero for getting us more money when he ultimately voted against the bill!
Again, why would Jindal vote against a bill that has “too much spending” after he got an amendment passed that increased spending in the bill? That just makes him a hypocrite.

Republicans are the reason we have a deadzone to begin with. Track Jindal’s rubberstamp votes back to prove it:

Keep trying Danny, someday you’ll be good at something.
Right now, your still a looser.
Jilil: Calling someone a “loser” and spelling it “looser” just proves that you are an idiot. So come on Jilil, what do you think about the Republican Party misleading their supporters with this press release?
