Bobby doesn't have the most money - Georges does! Check out this story:

Georges To Report Over $5.5 Million On Hand for Governor's Race

The John Georges for Governor Campaign today announced
that they have over $5.5 million cash on hand for the 2007 Louisiana
Governor's Race, making Georges the best funded candidate in the race
as of the present reporting period.

"I want the hard working men and women of Louisiana who
have stuck with this great state through the toughest of times to know
that this year, there will be a real race for Governor," said
Georges. "I am making a huge personal commitment to see that the hard
working men and women of the state will have a choice of a leader who
is not a politician, but a businessman who understands the real issues
facing the state because he has served small businesses all 64
parishes for over 25 years."

Patrick, because Breaux has the clout to solve our problems. He passed key legislation such as the Breaux Act while in Congress, and we now receive millions of dollars every year for coastal restoration projects. Breaux is connected, and Breaux knows this state. Breaux is mature, and he will discipline all the little Jim Tuckers and Steve Scalises in Baton Rouge.

Patrick: Check the most recent thread that I posted with the link to the rediff website. They spell out a lot of very good reasons why Breaux is an excellent choice.

Dan:

Point taken. EWE should be released when his term is up. Not a day sooner. Just a little frustration over our listing as a "Banana Republic" and our fascination with the number 50 (as in 50th in everything good).

Now, in just a few sentences, tell me why you think John Breaux is the man for our state. Don't tell me why Jindal is bad, tell me why Breaux is good.

Patrick: I think EWE should stay locked up for the length of is jail term. The attempts of the pro-jindal croud to tie in Breaux and EWE and how that would be "business as usual" would be just as pathetic if I was to say that Jindal must be cheating on his wife because he worked for Livingston.

jindalisbad???
breauxisworse!!!

I bet if I had Breaux's mailing list, it would be the same as a list of folks who think EWE has served enough time. He should stay in jail until the state image is cleaned up or he dies, whichever comes first.

I'm sorry, but letting Breaux run just lets the rest of the world that it is business as usual in Louisiana. Maybe Jindal would be an ineffective leader, but his election as governor might send a signal that some folks in Louisiana still care.

James: What does "brought forth" mean? Does it mean that he submitted more legislation? Or does it mean that he had more legislation passed? Getting our fair share of oil revenues has been a big issue for a long time now. Notice, the name on the legislation that was passed was LANDRIEU and not JINDAL. Number 432 is not ranked that low because he can get things done.
