Jindal wins.
Oct 20th, 2007 by Daniel Z.
I could sit here and repeat all the problems I have with Bobby Jindal over and over and over again…. but I wont. I will make 3 points.
One thing that will be interesting will be if Louisiana gets a brand new toxic waste dump or not. That $50K was really questionable, as was the alleged contribution from road home lobbyists.
If Bobby Jindal wants true ethics reform, he needs to include a ban on corporate donations. Without this, you leave a huge ethical loophole that many corrupt people can drive an entire campaign through.
I have real doubts about Jindal (obviously). I just hope, for the sake of Louisiana, that I am wrong. I can handle being wrong in who I supported if Louisiana gets the change it needs. Louisiana cannot handle being wrong in this election.

What is going on down in lafayette with them getting their own fiber service. This is exactly the kind of thing a republican will stomp on.
God forbid the government can compete with business. The government has an unfair advantage, they are not required to make huge profit…
I bet the Republicans, telcom lobbies, Bell South and Cox cable try to kill Lafayette’s deal now….
It appears that Louisiana [my adopted 2nd state] has spoken. Bobby Jindal WILL be your governor. My congratulations - you have chosen well.
Bob Ashman - Las Vegas
Does anybody have the post election demographics on who voted for Jindal.

I couldnt find who was the majority on race . I have a ethinc back ground and I didn’t vote for him. I kept hearing all over the media they thought the black vote was going to help Jindal win. No one I know that is black voted for him. They voted for other canadiates.

Huh? , businesses are “required to make a huge profit”?. Who says so?
Profit, O.K., but “huge profit” being a requirement, I cannot go along with that argument, you corporate fascist. That mentaility is what ultimately puts business at a disadvantage, you fool.
FP, the Secretary of State’s election results website is up and running now.

Just admit Defeat Dan Zimmerman because Bobby Jindal Won Bigtime and you lost bigtime yourself!!!! HAHAHAHAHA you sorry sucker!!!! Nobody wants to listen to a big mouth like yours so goodbye and enjoy serving under my man Bobby Jindal for the next few years!!!!!
Ron: The title of the thread is “Jindal Wins”, so I clearly admitted defeat.
As I stated earlier, I think it is likely that you have some diminished mental capacity and because of this I will refrain from attacking you.
Know I don’t but I think you do 100% Dan Zimmerman. I am much younger than you Dan Zimmerman bigtime. Why don’t you go on a vacation now since Bobby Jindal won and you lost Dan Zimmerman. It’s also time to Delete this very stupid website too Dan Zimmerman.
Time will tell the tale of Louisiana. This is a very good site. If someone is never pointed to what they have done wrong they’ll never know they’re doing wrong, or wont care because they believe no one really cares. Good luck to all! Even you Ron.
One person for whom Jindal is particularly bad is Diaper Dave Vitter.
The main if not sole reason that the national GOP hasn’t been trying to force out Debra Jeane Palfrey’s favorite client the way they started on Larry Craig once his arrest became public is because Louisiana’s governor is a Democrat, whereas Idaho’s governor is a Republican.
But now that Piyush Jindal’s been elected, and will move into the governor’s chair in a few months, suddenly it’s not as important to hang onto David Vitter. Once Jindal’s sworn in, Diaper Dave had better watch out — that is, unless Jindal visits the same sort of ’stress relief’ parlors Vitter is known to have frequented.
Ron: “Know I dont”
I think that proves my point.
I am also sorry that you seem to be incapable of paying attention. I do not own this site, so I have no control over when/if it will go away.
I just knew you would quit the Governor’s Race Tony G because nobody wanted to vote for a Sore Loser like you from Mandeville. Like I told you before I just knew your trash talking about Bobby Jindal wouldn’t get you and Dan Zimmerman anywhere Tony G. Bobby Jindal Won in a Landslide bigtime!!!! Bobby Jindal will do a much better job than what damn Blanco did for sure.
Um, Ron… 47% of the people who voted in Louisiana did not support Jindal. Hardly a landslide. You tend to get carried away and it really hurts your credibility.
Why do these pro-Jindal wackos come to your website if they hate it so much. I hope that Jindal does well either, but the fact that he campaigned on ethics, but took more special interest money than any other candidate is laughable. This guy is no different than any other right-wing hypocrite conservative that we’ve elected. How is Louisiana going to be better off because he’s of Indian descent? What the hell difference does that make? No matter what color he is, I still see RED! Thank you for this website, we needed a voice for us black sheep.
Nothing hurts me at all Dan Zimmerman. I think its 37% instead of 47% Dan Zimmerman. You just need to get your facts straight bigtime for sure.
As usual Ron, you think wrong.
http://www.nola.com/elections/results/102007_gov.html
Again, you get carried away and it really hurts your credibility.
It surely doesn’t hurt my Credibility Dan Zimmerman. My man won bigtime yours didn’t ha ha ha you damn sucker from Kenner!!!! Bobby Jindal won by 53% of the votes compared to the other jerks he ran against. Why don’t you find somebody else to dog out because Bobby Jindal won so you can shut your damn mouth up bigtime you idiot!!!!
Republican Bobby Jindal carried 60 of Louisiana’s 64 parishes on his way to winning the race for governor in a primary knockout.
Jindal finished with 54 percent of the vote Saturday night against three well-financed rivals, a winning margin that political analysts said was nothing short of massive.
State Sen. Walter Boasso, D-Arabi, finished second in the race for governor with 17 percent of the vote, followed by New Orleans businessman John Georges at 14 percent. Georges did not have any political affiliation.
Democrat Foster Campbell of Bossier Parish finished fourth among the best-financed contenders with 12 percent of the tally.
Ron, when you get carried away it absolutely hurts your credibility. What also hurts your credibility is your plagiarism.
See, post 14 is your typical post. You use words like “bigtime” and “my man” and you continue to refer to me as “Dan Zimmerman” when it is not needed since it is obvious that you are speaking to me.
Post 15 doesn’t seem like your words at all. It is a very well written post that actually states facts without being abrasive. It also does not seem like the author of those words is getting carried away.
So I googled the words and saw that you ripped off your quotes from the Advocate. You used the copyrighted material of the Advocate without referencing your source. That is an example of plagiarism and people who plagiarize tend to lose their credibility.
Former Louisiana Gov. Dave Treen said Monday he plans to run for the congressional seat being vacated by Gov.-elect Bobby Jindal.
Treen, 79, served four terms in the U.S. House in the 1970s. The Republican was a one-term governor, from 1980-1984
Now you are stealing from the free republic?
Nope I didn’t get that information from that website Dan. Never heard of that website anyways. The Dead Pelican is my most favorite Website!!!
Ok, so you stole it from someone else without citing it. That is still plagiarism.
No it isn’t Dan Damn Zimmerman!!! What is this Bobby Jindal is not going to Resign just for you whatsoever Dan Zimmerman!!! Bobby Jindal is going to do a much better job than what Blanco did for sure. In fact Blanco can resign herself right now and go home for good because we don’t need her in office anymore. Maybe you might want to go help her move out of the State Capital in Baton Rouge Dan Zimmerman.
Ron, you are really embarrassing yourself. Perhaps you should speak to our mutual friend again.
Hey Dan I don’t have a mutural friend at all man. You might need to talk to yours though. Boasso will help you out if you will go hunting with him at his camp in Mississippi Dan Zimmerman or you can go to John Georges Business and he might help you out also.
Richard is our mutual friend… or at least he was. Did you manage to annoy him to death… bigtime?
So Dan tell me more about who this Richard guy is??? I really don’t no anybody by the name of Richard.
Ron is this you on the spikers?

If so, congrats on your team getting a trophy.
No sorry that’s not me Dan. Why don’t you try and find me on My Space if you really want to see me.
Ron, so you are saying that your photobucket account is not LSURONCO?
You did post this… remember?
http://www.jindalisbad.com/jindal-votes-against-the-people-of-washington-dc/#comment-3065
You posted several pictures from the LSURONCO account. You also have this picture there.

You know I am about to report you to my new friend that just got voted in as Sheriff Dan Zimmerman for hacking into my private stuff and taking my pictures. My stuff is Private Property so leave it alone or else.
You want to see an awesome picture of me with this awesome man!!! Well you are about too Dan Zimmerman!!! Be sure you show this picture to all your friends too!!!
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k192/lsuronco/RONSPICTURES624.jpg
Ron, I am sure that your new friend the Sheriff would tell you that since you made the pictures available on the internet that anybody can see them and it would not be an example of me invading your privacy. Im sure your friend the Sheriff would tell you that me linking to your public photobucket account is not wrong or illegal. You can verify this with him though.
Again, you are getting carried away and it really makes you look bad. Ron, I am sure that deep down you are a really nice guy with good intentions. However, if you continue to post in the way that you do, a lot of people might get the wrong impression of you.
You know Dan I am so involved with Politics now that I am use to bugging you. There has been alot of stuff you have said about my man Bobby Jindal that has made me so mad at you Dan Zimmerman that I don’t know if I should forgive you or not and plus he is our new governor and your still saying bad stuff about him. My goodness give him a chance and live a little Dan Zimmerman. He has already called a Special Session so what more you want out of him right now huh Dan Zimmerman?! I would also like to hear who you are for President of The United States of America next year too? I am for Fred Thompson bigtime Dan because they are comparing him to a Ronald Regan.
Ron: If you are involved in politics you have to understand that there will always be people who disagree with your stance. Now, take our mutual friend Richard. Him and I disagree on many things pertaining to politics. He likes Bobby Jindal as well. However, we can have discussions about politics without resorting to name calling. Now, don’t you think that is a better way to discuss politics? You don’t always have to be enemies with the people you disagree with.
The problem I am having with Bobby Jindal now is that he is going to take his Congressional paycheck for the next 2.5 months while working on his transition team. Working on a transition to become Governor is a full time Job. Congress is also a full time job. It is hard to keep up two full time jobs, especially when one of them is outside the state. Do you think it is fair for someone to take a paycheck for being a full time Congressman when he will be working full time on his transition?
I also have a problem with the fact that the new election process for U.S. Congress will require a maximum of 3 elections. If Bobby Jindal resigns now, that process can start now. If Bobby Jindal resigns in 2.5 months then the process doesn’t start until 2.5 months from now. What do you think is more fair to the residents of Louisiana’s first congressional district?
Since I am a Democrat, my choice for President is going to be a Democrat. I am most likely going to be supporting John Edwards.
I believe that Republicans are wrong on healthcare. Too often, persons with disabilities (physical, developmental, or otherwise) do not receive the healthcare that they need. Often, persons with disabilities rely on government aid to help them get by and often the aid they do get is not enough. That leaves it up to the family to cover the rest. Democrats want to make sure that people can have access to healthcare that they need. And the argument of “socialism” that is often raised is flawed because when someone cannot get preventive care, they tend to use the emergency room which costs US more money.
Do you think that persons with disabilities have a right to receive healthcare and support from the government?
John Edwards is okay but you know Hillary Clinton is kicking butt right now and so is Obama and I don’t like neither of them. Yes I do think peope with Disabilities should have the right to receive healthcare and support from the Government Dan. I think in some cases yes. I do not believe in Free Government Healthcare equals for healthcare.
Just because someone is kicking butt right now doesn’t mean that they will kick butt in the future.
Im glad we also agree that people with disabilities should have the right to receive healthcare and support from the Government. (We also agree on helmet and seatbelt laws).
Nothing from government is free. It comes from our tax dollars. Now, if we do not cover people with preventive care, and poor people rely on the emergency room, that increases our health care costs. So the way I see it, we either pay for it with our tax dollars or we pay for it with the money we use to pay for insurance. Either way we pay.
Wow. This is quite an exchange you have going here. En tous cas, I was just dropping by to say thanks for trying and let’s hope Jindal will move toward the left. If he has national aspirations (which given his ego, I’m sure he does) then he’d better check the overt religiosity and ultra-right-wing dogma tout-de-suite. That stuff my play in Dry Prong or Tallulah, but it sure won’t play as well in most of the country. Take care, Dan. I’ll catch you sometime on BayouBuzz. TW
Later T-dub.
Bobby Jindal will shock all you guys so much.
Jindal is a pencil pushing , no common sense , good for nothing, full of bull liar
