Jindal showed up to Congress once in the last 2 months!
Oct 8th, 2007 by Daniel Z.
Since August 5th, Bobby Jindal has only cast a vote on one day.
The anual salary of a member of the House is $165,200
So Bobby Jindal worked 1 day out of a possible 61. If you consider that 60 days of missed work to campaign, Bobby Jindal has missed $27,156.16 worth of work while campaigning for Governor.
Louisiana’s median income is just under $16,000.
And this is the guy that many people want to elect governor? That is pathetic!

(9 votes, average: 3.78 out of 5)
Yes, how true, thanks Dan!
But look even closer at what he did show up for, both votes on the 10th of September (getting it already?):
A ceremonial “9/11 Commemoration” passed 334-1, with 98 not voting. http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll866.xml
And a “Supporting the goals and ideals of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month” passed 330-0, 102 not voting.

Both bills were certain winners with overwhelming bipartisan support. An average of 100 did not vote/show up, likely for that reason.
So Jindal essentially voted on “feel good” bills for obvious PR purposes.
And I submit as further proof of this that the number of non-voters for almost every other bill I checked on averaged from the upper teens to the upper twenties, not anywhere near one hundred.
Going back one more vote (how many tens of thousands of $$, as Dan might say) his last prior vote to these was on August 4th. Guess what he voted YES on but was defeated?
A Motion to Adjourn!! No joking!

“Bobby”, diligent worker for Louisiana? My @#*!
So if you want to compare this to other jobs, Jindal missed all the work and all the meetings but showed up for the company picnic.
