Jindal on ABC 26
Sep 30th, 2007 by Daniel Z.
Michael Hill interviewed Bobby Jindal on ABC 26 this morning.
Jindal was asked if EWE should be let out of jail. He gave his typical dodge of an answer. He was asked his opinion and he did not respond with a “no” (or better yet, “hell no”). How can anyone take Jindal seriously on ethics if he wont say that the corrupt EWE should remain in jail for his entire term?
He was asked why he hasn’t committed to more debates. He dodged with stating that he has several multi-point plans and challenged others to release there plans. Of course, other candidates are releasing their plans and guess what? Other candidates are also willing to attend more debates.
Jindal then complains about candidates throwing mud, even though he calls people corrupt for no real reason and he calls people clowns. He also repeats the lie that he was attacked for his christian faith. As confirmed by Stephanie Grace, he was not attacked for his faith. Nobody said that Bobby Jindal is a terrible person because he is a Christian.
Jindal was asked why he hasn’t asked for Senator Vitter’s resignation. Jindal said that he called for Craig to resign because he was convicted of a crime (he pled guilty) and that he has “criticized” Vitter.
Jindal is then asked “Isn’t there a petty distinction though when you start talking about the conviction and what someone has admitted to doing. In this case we have the Senator of this state, the Junior Senator, who campaigned on family values, who goes to Washington DC as as.. a lawmaker. He tells us that he has broken the law, his oath, his trust, his bond with the public. Why not as somebody who is saying look, we need ethical behavior, we need people to be straight up, above board. Why not call for this Senator to resign?”
Part of Jindal’s response to this line of questioning included”… Michael, you said something but actually I dont think has happened. Mabye you said he had told you he has broken the law. I havn’t actually havn’t seen him say that“.
Michael’s response: ”To solicit prostitution is breaking the law.”
Jindal: “But Michael, clearly we have said it is wrong when anyone breaks the law…. we apply the same standards to everybody“.
He hasn’t seen Vitter admit to it?!?!?!? Does Bobby Jindal have a visual impairment or a hearing impairment?
Michael Hill was then discussing the election for Governor with Jeff Crouere. Michael Hill stated:
One of the things I learned about Bobby Jindal interviewing him for a good 35 or almost 40 minutes, is that he does talk a lot but when you really look and listen at the interview he does not answer a lot of questions so it seems.
Jeff Crouere’s response was that the reason Jindal does this because he is a “practiced politician” who “knows he can win by running out the clock”.
Good for ABC 26 and Michael Hill for not pulling punches and asking the hard questions.
The only unfortunate thing is that this aired at 6:30 on Sunday Morning. Perhaps it will be on their website later.

nice catch! please update and let us know if this very important interview is posted to the abc26 website.
So is Jindal only against corruption when people actually admit to being corrupt? He is all for it as long as you can get away with it.
Well, I would say that he is against corruption unless being against corrupt people will cost him votes.
He wont come out against Vitter for his sins against the prostitute even though he has called for Craig’s resignation.
He wont come out against EWE and say that EWE should remain in prison for the rest of his sentance.
Yet we are supposed to take Jindal seriously on ethics? I think not.
There should be a few commercials on this:
Jindal and Vitter should be learning that they can’t outrun their voting records.
Their votes against veterans caught up to them as Veterans In Action criticized them for their atrocious voting record and asked them to change course.
Jindal and Vitter have earned an F and D score from American Veterans. That rating placed them in the bottom 10 or so percent of other U.S. Senate and Reps - lower than more than most U.S. Republicans and every Democrat and Independent serving at that time in the chamber.

Why do you think they earned a failing grade from Disabled American Veterans?
Why do you think they have consistently voted against veterans’ causes?
Do they not know how their votes damage veterans?
Do they not know how their votes damage Americans?
Or does he not care?
Hah… Who is bad now? That’s right it is Bobby Jindal with 53% of the vote. But the way your web design is awful.
