Jindal drops below 50%
Sep 28th, 2007 by Daniel Z.
According to BayouBuzz.com:
“[Jindal] is attempting to “run out the clock” with this huge lead and avoid a run-off. His strategy may be somewhat flawed however, for a new Multi-Quest International poll shows that Jindal has dropped below the magic 50% level. The poll pegs Jindal at 48.5% with about 30% still undecided.”
In the last election, Jindal rose up from being a relative unknown ot make a runoff. Will he be too well known this time? Will people finally learn who he is, what he stands for, and the he is all talk with no action? Only time will tell.

I guess I wasn’t the only one who found his debate performance to be weak. From not giving direct answers to stating that Louisiana is a “rich state” (called out by Campbell) and the people of LA are “united” (caled out by Georges).
Isn’t 48.5% out of 4 people a winning percentage? It must be tough to throw stones from waaaaaaaay down in 3% land.
As of this evening, it appears Jindal has dropped below the 50% mark here in Shreveport as well. Interested to see how the forum tomorrow night goes and if it affects the voting online much?
Capt. “Obvious”: It is enough to put you in first. It is not enough to make you win in the primary. And it also shows that Jindal is trending down and not up.
