Bobby Jindal Keeps $5,000 Received From ARMPAC
Jan 30th, 2007 by jindalisbad
According to this source Bobby Jindal hasn’t returned or given away the $5,000 political contribution that he received from ARMPAC. If you don’t remember what ARMPAC is here is the skinny:
Americans for a Republican Majority (also ARMPAC) was a political action committee formed by former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and directed by Karl Gallant. On July 7, 2006 ARMPAC reached an agreement with the Federal Election Commission to pay a fine of $115,000 for various violations and to shut down operations.- From Wikipedia.org
Now of the total $2,371,346 that Tom Delay gave out only $53,537 has been returned and $28,537 given to hurricane survivors by all Republicans that received money from Delay.
You would think that Jindal wouldn’t want to be associated with Mr. Delay in any way, shape, or form. And what a better gesture than to give dirty money to a charity/cause that could really put it to good use. Rather than keep it for their political gain.
So I’m asking you Mr. Jindal, put your money where your mouth is and rectify what you received.

Can the Democratic Hitman talk about Jefforson’s Cold Hard Cash?
If they so wish, but not real sure how that is relevant to this topic. Is it just me or does every Jindal supporter always try to change the subject or say “well look at what this guy did…”?
Yes, they try to change the topic or slam the topic initiator.
Ignoring the facts are what they do best. Living life blind in the fast lane. It’s going to hurt when they run into that preverbial wall!
JIB: I have seen that site myself. Hardly anyone who received money from ARMPAC has returned it. Jindal has received money from other pillars of ethics (like Halliburton) as well. And no, it is not just you. We should come up with a list of distraction tactics that Jindal supporters use. So far we have “but he is so smart”, “you are a racist because you dont like Bobby”, and “lets talk about this other politician instead”.
Bill: Create a relevant website about Congressman Jefferson and we can talk about it there. Why would we discuss Congressman Jefferson on a blog dedicated to discussing why Bobby Jindal is a bad choice for Governor.
I have tried to give this site traffic through my signature line at multiple blogs. I hope my efforts have worked. Regarding Jindal, I believe he is involved with former Republican Rep. Livingston’s lobbying group. Livingston is the worst when it comes to the revolving door of politics, and Jindal has received a lot of his money. Consult this document and perform a search for Jindal if you need more information. The document is long, but it is definitely worth it.

And notice Jindal was Livingston’s intern in 1996. Also notice that Livingston was Jindal campaign manager in 2003. Revolving door indeed, and Jindal is still spinning in it.
Also consider the following:

Jindal has a habit of taking money from disgraced lobbyists.
I did know about Livingston being Jindal’s campaign manager (listed on his last campaign finance report) but I didn’t know about Jindal being Livingston’s intern in 1996!
You know, people talk about “clout” when it comes to Jindal. He was supposed to be able to do all these wonderful things because he already had “clout” in D.C. Well, his clout didn’t amount to much of anything. And as it turns out, he is political partners with former Congressman Livingston who gave up his clout (he was the Speaker-elect) because he couldn’t keep it in his pants.
I would think that Jindal would want someone with a little better morals to run his campaign.
