An Open Letter To JindalIsGood.com
Oct 30th, 2006 by jindalisbad
Dear JindalIsGood.com,
Am I the only person who noticed that on JindalIsGood.com you don’t have 1 political stance about Mr. Jindal? Not even a link to a small biography. It would seem to me that the only interest to JindalIsGood.com is selling a T-Shirt for $13.00 for which you say no money is profited from.
Wouldn’t it be wise to put some political views of Mr. Jindal on the back of the shirt, I mean just selling a shirt that says Mr. Jindal is good doesn’t really reflect any meaning. But what you are saying is that if Mr. Jindal is good then obviously the others have to bad right? All of the candidates can’t be good because there wouldn’t be a bad and how do you measure one’s goodness if there is no comparable bad.
My point being is it seems your are only pushing ignorance, not views.
Waiting your response.

Rex,
First of all, your website is fantastic. I sincerely mean that. Secondly, all of your concerns will be addressed in due time. I look forward to making my case for Bobby Jindal in December through http://www.jindalisgood.com. It is my hope that Bobby Jindal decides to run for Governor of Louisiana in 2007. Congressman Jindal could do amazing things for our economy, our health care system and our education system. These are the areas where the Great State of Louisiana needs the most help.
That’s all for now… more fun to come in December. In the meanwhile, keep up the good work.
Respectfully Yours,
Josh Harvey

What I don’t understand about Josh Harvey is this. Unless you are just trying to capitalize on the popularity of people in order to make a buck, how on earth can someone be supportive of both Mark Warner and Bobby Jindal?
Mark Warner is a consensus building “moderate” Democrat.
Bobby Jindal is an extreme right wing pro-life (with no exceptions!!!!) Republican.
How can someone think that both Mark Warner and Bobby Jindal are both “good”?
Guess it just depends on your views.
I really don’t see many people who support extreme right wing pro-life Republicans as people who will support moderate Democrats.
Maybe Josh just doesn’t know that Bobby Jindal’s stance on abortion would require a 12 year old girl who was impregnated by a rape to “keep it” (despite the increased risks of problems that she might have with being pregnant so young).
The Jindal haters real motivation is that Bobby Jindal is horning in on their territory by gaining support of racial minorities. They are not supposed to leave the Liberal Plantation and vote for a Republican. In fact, Bobby Jindal, being a racial minority himself, is supposed to be a Democrat and tow the Liberal line about diversity.
Just like run away slaves who where punished for leaving the plantation, Bobby Jindal is on the modern day underground railroad and is taking others with him. That cannot be allowed to happen. Why, how can Ole Colonel Democrat properly run his plantation without reliable voters to keep him there? He can’t and that has him afraid.
Interesting analogy
Kinch is absolutely wrong about the motivations of myself and others who dislike the politics of Bobby Jindal. Bobby Jindal’s ethnicity has absolutely nothing to do with my political feelings towards him.
Bobby Jindal supports a policy of “no abortions, no exceptions”. That kind of person should absolutely not be a Democrat.
Kinch is right about one thing. Bobby Jindal is running away fromt he Democratic party. Why? Because Bobby Jindal is afraid that people will actually listen to them and figure out that Jindal’s record is just a bunch of misleading spin. That is why he cries “negative attack, negative attack” whenever someone tries to counteract his misleading spin on his record.
They now have a list of why “Jindal is good”. http://www.jindalisgood.com/whyisjindalgood.html
This is as good a place as any to write a rebuttal to their opinions.
First off, they start with the typical defense of Jindal by stating that “He is smart”. There are many smart people, not all of them are suited to govern.
They bring up his experience, but he has never stays in a job for a very long time. This makes it possible for Jindal to do things in that job… and when those things go wrong, he is no longer around to accept the blame.
They state “quite frankly, if we’re not talking about better schools, better jobs and better health care in Louisiana, why are we talking? ”
We are talking because there is more to being an elected official than just jobs, schools, and health care. Yes, those are important issues but they are not everything. For example, I usually bring up Jindals stance on abortion as to why he should not be elected. I, like most people, believe that reducing the number of abortions that take place would be a good thing. However, Jindal’s stance on abortion is thoughtless and cruel. He would force rape victims who are impregnated by their attacker to “keep it”. Imagine your 12-year old daugher gettning raped and impregnanted… if Congressman Jindal had his way, she would be forced to give birth dispite the increased health risks associated with pregnancy that young.
I do not think we should be electing anyone to any office who supports the idea that rape victims should be required to give birth.
But there are some areas on the “Jindal is good” site where they have it absolutely wrong.
They state “How can we improve Louisiana’s health care system? Maybe we could elect a Governor whose background is in health care. Maybe we could elect someone who has already worked to reform the Medicare and Medicaid programs at both the state and federal level. There is no person more qualified to improved Louisiana’s health care system than Piyush “Bobby” Jindal. Healthcare is his bread and butter. ”
Jindal’s “fix” to the Louisiana department of health was to slash programs and shut down clinics. Anyone can be a hatchet man. I have spoken with nurses who worked in the Louisiana Department of Health during and after his cuts. They all stated that his cuts made it harder for them to provide healthcare to the people who need it. We have experienced Bobby Jindal’s health care policies…. we do not need to experience them again.
They state “But if, God forbid, another Hurricane strikes Louisiana, we don’t any of those other guys at the helm. Nope, we want a leader that exudes confidence. We need a leader that can think on his feet, move fast and get things done. Bobby Jindal is that man. ”
Bobby Jindal refused to make hurricane protection and coastal restoration a priority in his 2004 campaign. He is not someone who thinks on his feet… he is someone with hindsight who ignored the biggest threat facing Louisiana until AFTER that threat became a reallity. Hindsight is 20/20 and Jindal should not be rewarded for it.
THey say: “If people are going to take cheap shots at Bobby J in 2007, they’re going to have to answer to the man himself. But that’s just what we hear… Bobby Jindal might turn the other cheek, but he might clear the temple. ”
Will he walk on water too? Unfortunately, there are too many times when people make valid criticisms of Jindal and his record and those criticisms are called “cheap shots” or “negative attacks”. If someone, like Jindal, presents a misleading positive spin on his own record, the other candidates should counteract that spin. It is not negative to expose a lie from a candidate. (For example, Jindal is touting his hard work in getting us offshore oil revenue when his bill failed)
Yes, Bobby Jindal is a very good speaker and he comes off as very likeable….. the same can be said about car dealers and snake oil salesmen. Jindal and his support group have been able to mislead the people of Louisiana about his accomplishments. It is time that the people start learning the truth and I for one am glad that this website is up to help educate the people about the truth… that as a choice for Governor, Bobby Jindal is Bad.
Kinch i think you hit a nerve and you do make a very good point.Because all you see are people who are attacking Bobby while looking the other way for Governor blanco who most here would have voted for.
This is almost like rounding up the klan to safe our land from the Dark Skinned man
What has Blanco done to fix our health care, what has blanco done to make us safer or bring people back home with hurricane protecting. What has blanco done at all.She had the state take over a few schools and now their grades are worst than ever.
See you can hide behind alot of reasons to attack Bobby Jindal but when you never complained about your own Governor not doing her job,it is not fair to attack bobby before he has a chance.
Most of this is simply racsim and being scared because you are losing the power your party has had on louisiana for to long.
None of this states problems just happened they have been around for a long time and the democratic party never cared to fix them.
