Now that Blanco has stated she will not seek re-election alot of steam will be taken from the Jindal campaign as much of their support was focused on anti-Blanco rather than pro-Jindal.
And since he was a shoe-in for election if Blanco was going to be the only formidable runner I see many jumping ship.

According to the power rankings on Congress.org, Congressman Bobby Jindal has received a very low score in Congress. In fact, he is ranked 432 out of the total 435 members of Congress. Of Louisiana Congressmen, Jindal is 6th of 7 with only Bill Jefferson ranking lower.
